Inventory and Back Office Management
CAP Retail, POS Nation’s software, is notably strong on inventory management. It gives your team an “at a glance view” of stock levels across different branches and warehouses.
Stockroom admin is made simple with features like custom labels and barcodes, a “style matrix” to handle products sold in different sizes and colors, and a mobile inventory scanner to help with stock-takes and daily management.
POS Nation’s software also includes several features to assist with team management. Staff can clock in and out of their shifts, with the system logging working hours and breaks. There are also deduction reports to allow for when sums need to be accounted for in payroll.
CAP Retail has comprehensive reporting capabilities. Over 55 reports come with the software, spanning both back-office management and sales performance.
Although POS Nation is an on-premise POS system, there is a “Retail Mobile Dashboard” that provides access to these reports from off-site. This feature, which helps replicate something that cloud-based systems offer, costs an extra $15 per month.
Loyalty and Rewards
POS Nation include a set of useful features to help you recognize and reward repeat customers. The system allows you to hand out loyalty cards and configure specific reward tiers, offers and benefits.
Secure Integrated Payments
POS Nation integrates with WorldPay to process customer payments. This is configured in such a way that unencrypted card data isn’t stored within the POS database.
As well as handling card payments, the CAP Retail software also allows cash and check transactions, and lets you set up and manage customer accounts.
