Not bad for small businesses

We’re a small business and Ringcentral has a good working auto attendant system for forwarding calls. All the other features are good too. I would recommend it for small business owners.

Pros

It’s a reliable system and customer service is alright.

Cons

We had to sign a 2-year contract.

I’ve used Ringcentral for many years

Ringcentral is a Flexible solution I’ve used for many years. I run multiple businesses in real estate and as a serial entrepreneur, this system has all I need. The system can be a little challenging at first but once you know how to use it, it’s amazing.

Quality experience for many years

RingCentral encompasses many excellent features for personal or business VoIP system. It can take a little while to get used to, Ringcentral really delivers. You’ll need a great internet connection and make sure your routers are properly set up.

Good VoIP service

We have been using the VoIP service some time and the system is easy to understand. The quality of audio and video is great and being able to integrate with my mobile phone is great.

RingCentral products and services are great!

We have been using RingCentral for about 9 months now and the service is very good. The VoIP online portal takes time to get acquainted with, especially the interface. However, the initial training and follow-on session makes the product easier to understand. I recommend it for customers small to large over POTS systems.

Great phone system with so much options

This was an easy plug and play with so many options that support was very helpful, helping to customize the setup to our needs. Very reasonable cost.

RingCentral is a very helpful work tool

I use RingCentral at work to contact employees. I can make/receive calls, texts and faxes on my phone and via email. Great tool! I have recommended the service to friends

Great Customer Service

We are recently transfer our 2 phone lines from Verizon to Ring Central. We really like it, it cuts our costs 30% and they do have a great customer service that answer your call 24/7.

Not a happy camper

I told our rep what we currently had and wanted to replace our previous system. I was told vehemently that it could do all of that. Well, what we weren't told is that it can't actually do all that we said we wanted. There is a desktop version and a mobile version. Each system has components that work but not the same components and the two don't work together. RingCentral is apparently merging both systems onto a new platform. I'm not sure we didn't take 2 steps backward. I don't have time to figure all this out. Different answers from different tech support reps. Not a happy camper.

Cumbersome Admin Dashboard Settings and Awefull Support

the system setting are difficult to master. they are deeply woven into the interface making it difficult to find and remember which path to take to get to the simplest of settings. Being of, I believe Indian descent (not english), the support was always a struggle. When it came time to get port my numbers OUT, there didn't seen to be any knowledge of how to acomplish the task. Plenty of instruction for porting IN...none to port out. My new phone carrier worked tirelessly for 3-4 months to get the task completed through a serious of rediculous amounts of communications and conference calls. It was always a pain to get organized in Glip, Way to many emails. Too many work arounds for our small field service company.

Many issues

Customer service is not great. If you transfer a call it is no longer recorded. If you want to add to your current system like the call center, no one will call you back to give you a demo or pricing and they refer you to the online University that cost $400 for an hour. The training they do in the beginning is not average and they tell you they will record it and send it to you and that does not happen. They also give you a certain number of hours for training but after the first 90 days if you do not use them, they tell you they are no longer available.

Horrible Service

Worst company I have ever used. They do not deserve the 1 star that I was forced to give to leave the review. IT department is not an IT Department, it is a call center that knows nothing about the phone system. Who has 6 hours a week to spend on the phone with them to get a phone working? Not only that but when moving one of my desk phones from the office to the house, they ACCIDENTLY assigned my serial number on it to a RANDOM business not affiliated with me then said OOPS we cannot fix it now because we have your phone to another company on accident and we have to get their permission before we can get your serial number back for the desk top phone your company owns and has in possession. $350 Phone GONE. 6 hours of my time GONE. Let me reassure you this 6 hours is not a one time event, its 1 hour here to fix this, 2 hours here to fix that, 3 hours to fix the fax they accidently changed settings on. Not only that but majority of them are RUDE while you are calling them. They do not care about your business or if your phones work or not.

Worst experience yet

I signed up with the "Professional" plan at $49.99/month. They gave me a long list of features that I was expecting to get. Ended up getting NO outgoing call capability and NO SMS capability for the price. When I called Customer Service I got the run-around and was told I needed to upgrade to a higher priced plan to get SMS, not to mention the outgoing call issue. What company in the 21st century would even offer a no outgoing call and no SMS package? In the quote they sent me the features were clearly delineated. Drop these clowns like a hot rock. Will be reporting to FCC on this bait and switch. If you go looking at there "Training" videos, good luck. It's the worst thing I've seen in a while. Not organized or well documented. Had to actually start watching the video to even get an idea what it was for.
