Magaya Supply Chain's Offerings

The Magaya pricing structure is dynamic and suited for businesses of varying sizes and needs. The SCM platform allows companies to customize their price based on specific requirements.

You can get a quote from the sales team on the product website, but pricing is said to be around $300 per month per user. The pricing model takes into account the number of user licenses and modules you need, as well as transaction volumes.

This flexible approach lets you start with essential features and expand as needed, so you only pay for what you actually use and add users or modules as you grow.

Customer Support

Magaya provides a multi-tiered support system for its users. Basic support includes access to their online knowledge base, live chat, technical documentation, and standard email support. Premium support users receive priority email, direct phone support, and access to dedicated representatives.

The highest tier offers 24/7 emergency support, custom training sessions, and a dedicated account manager. All users can access the Magaya Learning Center, which provides video tutorials, user guides, and best practices.

1. Live Chat: You can access a live chat on the product homepage which is manned by a human rep. I found it very helpful, and I was able to escalate the issue to a technical expert in minutes.

2. Phone: You can reach the Magaya Customer Support team at 786-845-9150. Support is typically available Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 8 PM and Saturday from 8 AM to 12 PM (Eastern Time).

3. Magaya On Call (24/7 Support): If you need urgent after-hours support, Magaya provides 24/7/365 support. This service costs $250 per hour unless you select this level of support as part of your monthly subscription.

4. Email: Magaya offers email support at support@magaya.com. Email support typically takes 24-48 hours for non-urgent issues, though critical problems usually get faster attention.

5. Knowledge Base: The documentation is comprehensive, and you can find specific solutions via search. Troubleshooting guides are practical, and I found the tutorial videos easy to understand.

6. Learning Center/Training Services: Initial implementation training is thorough but can feel overwhelming due to the system’s complexity. The online training sessions are informative and convenient.

7. Account Management: Enterprise clients get dedicated account managers who provide valuable insights and quick issue resolution. Check-ins are regular, though they sometimes feel more like sales opportunities than support sessions.

Community: Through one of its modules, Magaya Network, Magaya provides a community of 1700+ professionals in one part of the supply chain or another — agents, custom agencies, customers, couriers, and others.

Order management

Magaya’s order management features streamline every step of the order process, offering both manual and automated entry options. You can create recurring orders using customizable templates or manage orders centrally with integrations across e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, and POS systems. Automated inventory checks instantly allocate stock, allowing backorders and split orders to fulfill items as they become available. You also gain end-to-end visibility over the order lifecycle, and you can share this with customers.

Return Merchandise Authorization

It doesn’t end after delivery. The RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) workflow allows for hassle-free returns, replacements, and exchanges directly within the platform. Integrated with major carriers like FedEx, USPS, and UPS, the system generates shipping labels automatically and lets you manage delivery timelines. Tools like order consolidation reduce shipping costs by combining multiple orders for the same customer, while bulk processing saves valuable time with high-volume orders. Advanced prioritization tools allow you to manage critical orders efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries for all customers.

The system’s bin location management suggests optimal placements based on picking frequency, enhancing retrieval speed. Putaway strategies further optimize product placement to maximize space and efficiency while flexible picking methods adapt to diverse operational needs.

The cross-docking functionality minimizes handling time for expedited orders. With dedicated support for third-party logistics (3PL) providers, the platform manages multiple clients and warehouses, and automated billing tools streamline client invoicing and payment tracking, making it ideal for complex logistics environments.

Magaya facilitates instant quoting and rate comparisons from carriers and then offers automated invoicing. Route planning tools create efficient paths, while dynamic routing optimizes for traffic and delivery windows, saving time and fuel while on the go.

Performance:

Magaya is a powerful supply chain management software suite tailored for mid-sized to large businesses in the logistics industry. It stands out by offering comprehensive solutions beyond basic inventory management, including freight forwarding, customs compliance, and warehouse management, all integrated into one cohesive platform.

Though its interface can initially appear complex, it becomes user-friendly with practice and in-app guidance. Extensive customization options make setting up workflows straightforward, and standard operations like order processing are efficiently handled.

Data synchronization is reliable, and shipment updates occur almost instantly. Integration capabilities are strong with an open API and seamless connections to major carriers and customs systems, though some lesser-known third-party integrations may require custom work.

Magaya excels in order and logistics management, maintaining accurate inventory across multiple warehouses and offering complete shipment visibility. The system streamlines batch order processing with validation checks and effective handling of back-orders and partial fulfillments.

Its logistics capabilities optimize transportation routes, carrier selection, and warehouse operations, enhancing cost efficiency and space utilization. Real-time analytics and customizable reporting dashboards provide valuable insights, while compliance features ensure adherence to major trade regulations and detailed audit trails, supporting smooth international shipping documentation and tax compliance across jurisdictions.

Ease Of Use:

UI Design

The interface has a somewhat dated design compared to modern enterprise SCM software, but the navigation is clear and functional. The menu structure is dense, with some important features buried three or four levels deep. However, the structure helps once you’re familiar with the scope of the system. The layout of data grids and forms is efficient but can feel cluttered when handling complex operations.

Magaya user interface

Learning Curve

New users typically require time to become comfortable with basic functions and even longer to master advanced features. The intuitive dashboard design and in-app help assist users in grasping operations quickly. Previous experience with supply chain logistics software should be useful here. The biggest challenge for new users is understanding the interconnected nature of different modules.

Mobile Access

The mobile experience is limited but more user-friendly. The functions are split into 3 separate mobile apps to streamline features for specific users. For supply chain mobile app users, basic functions like checking inventory or barcode scanning work fine, but complex supply chain operations are impossible.

Help

The help center is embedded directly within the Magaya supply chain management software for easy access. Context-sensitive tooltips pop up for different fields. These help new users understand what each tool does without needing to refer to external documentation. Magaya also offers quick guided tours that walk you through multi-step operations.

Verdict:

Magaya’s comprehensive supply chain management software delivers powerful logistics and freight forwarding features designed to streamline international shipping operations and enhance warehouse management efficiency. The SCM platform is built for logistics companies, freight forwarders, and 3PL providers who need comprehensive shipping management.

Its features go beyond the scope of supply chain software for small business ventures with basic domestic shipping needs. With Magaya, you can stay ahead of the complexity of the modern supply chain with inventory management and logistic features that help you achieve and manage optimal supply and demand levels.
