Customer Support

PlagiarismCheck.org offers standard support services for users, including 24/7 support via phone and email support. It also provides user guides with images for frequently asked questions and a blog section covering company activities and educational plagiarism topics.

PlagiarismCheck.org’s available support channels are standard for plagiarism checkers, except for its lack of a chatbot and a live online chat feature. So if you need immediate assistance, you may need to explore their user guides.

The user guides are easy to follow and are written straightforwardly. There is usually an accompanying image for each instruction, which I find very helpful since PlagiarismCheck.org doesn’t embed video tutorials on their website.

Plagiarismcheck.org email contact us form reply

However, if you’re willing to wait a few hours, the Contact Us form is a helpful medium to use. I tested the team’s response time by asking a simple question about free trials. Someone replied in a little over an hour and gave a courteous reply.

Performance:

PlagiarismCheck.org’s detection is somewhat accurate, but there are a few phrases it wasn’t able to detect. I uploaded the same documents I used for my Copyleaks review to compare, and the differences were intriguing.

PlagiarismCheck.Org Performance test

Copyleaks generally gives a higher similarity percentage, but PlagiarismCheck.org presents more sources. The latter also returned a 0% score for one of the files, whereas Copyleaks caught the plagiarism and gave a 28% report.

For one file, PlagiarismCheck.org showed a lot of sources EXCEPT the one I copied from.

PlagiarismCheck.Org report

So when it comes to accuracy, I’d say Copyleaks wins, although PlagiarismCheck.org still performs better than many others, like PlagScan and PaperRater. The tool’s anti-cheating feature also works.

For one file, I substituted letters with numbers and put spaces in between, and PlagiarismCheck.org still read the phrases as plagiarized.

Speed is also a strong suit for PlagiarismCheck.org. Aside from allowing batch uploads, the plagiarism reports only take about 20 seconds per page. I should note that when I used the Google Docs add-on, the speed was slightly slower. For one page, it took around 32 seconds. My internet speed at the time tested at 71.30 Mbps.

PlagiarismCheck.org also allows grammar checks, but each costs 3 pages. Although it is a useful feature, I recommend skipping it altogether. You can get better results with Grammarly’s free version.

Ease Of Use:

PlagiarismCheck.org’s interface is easily understood as the features are displayed clearly. The similarity score is strategically displayed at the top, and the sources are listed on the right-hand side. The tool uses different color codes for the highlighted phrases, but there is no information on what the colors signify. I tried searching for this in their user guides as well.

PlagiarismCheck.Org ease of use on platform

PlagiarismCheck.org’s dashboard design could use an improvement. I find the look a bit old-fashioned compared to Grammarly’s and Copyleaks’s interfaces. Their choice of colors is also not as visually appealing, but that’s just a nitpick from my end. The tool still works as intended.

PlagiarismCheck.Org plagiarism checker tool

Unlike other plagiarism detection apps that only offer LMS integrations, PlagiarismCheck.org has those plus a Google Docs add-on. The latter was easy to install and access. When you’re done writing a document, activate the tool, and it will generate a plagiarism report. Make sure you have pages in your balance.

Verdict:

PlagiarismCheck.org is an affordable alternative for students and individuals who don’t want monthly/annual pricing plans. Its plagiarism detection is above average with its fairly accurate checks, fast reports, multiple source detection, and anti-cheating feature.

It provides enough services for students to enjoy, although the visual appeal of its user interface could use some improvement. Overall, PlagiarismCheck.org is a decent and budget-friendly plagiarism checker.

great checker, I use it frequently
This review article is quite outdated but I still wanted to share my experience. I teach at a Turkish University and it's great that this detector supports various languages. (But the learning language is English, if you ask). It integrates with our LMS smoothly and saves me tons of time of not checking the copy-pasted assignments. Also checks for AI and typos. Awesome
