Wondershare Filmora is a user-friendly video editing application with many AI tools and other features included. Wondershare’s Filmora gives you the trimming, transitions, overlays, and effects you’ve come to expect in enthusiast-level video editing software. Filmora’s interface is clear and pleasing, though you don't get some of the fine control you do with other video editing apps. The cost of Wondershare Filmora is reasonably priced as well.

Wondershare has pricing options that vary based on your time commitment.
All the prices are significantly lower if you purchase a year subscription rather than a monthly one.
They offer a free trial of the software so that users can test it before paying for it.
Customer Support
Wondershare Filmora has limited customer service support, as the only option is to submit a request through the company’s website for an email response. I do not see a phone number available on the site to call, and the live chat option is just a chatbot that sends you to the “submit a request” page mentioned earlier.
Email Support
To reach customer support you need to submit a request on the help center-contact us page on Wondershare’s website.
Phone Support
Upon calling I was given options to choose which Wondershare product I need support for. Once I pressed “1” for video editing apps support, I was put on hold for 20 minutes and wasn’t able to get in touch with anyone from the support team.
Chat Support
The chat support is a chatbot that presents a few options. I was then sent a link to the page for submitting a request to the support team.

AI-Assisted Editing
Filmora doesn’t generate videos using AI; however, AI-assisted editing is a new AI tool that eases the editing process. Two that sound similar but are different are AI text-based editing and AI copilot editing.
Special Effects and Color Editing
You can move and resize PiP windows right in the video preview by clicking on the appropriate timeline clip and dragging the crosshairs in the idle of the edges and corners. The effects panel encompasses overlays, filters, LUTs, and third-party tools from Boris and NewBlue. Its video effects section includes categories from AI portrait to shake to nightlife to Instagram. These filters can add drama to your video as they do still photos.
Transitions
Filmora has more than 100 transitions, which are downloaded as you choose them. Users may have to search for them the first time after installation, as they may not show up. You can easily search for fade, warp, zoom, flash, and more styles. You can designate those you use often as favorites for easy access. Filmora uses unusual schematic diagrams and images to show what the transitions do. Once you watch a couple in action, it’s easier to understand. Adding transitions is blissfully free and easy to edit. Just choose your transition and drag it into place in the project timeline section.
UniConverter
UniConverter is a Wondershare application separate from Wondershare Filmora. It is the same price as the Filmora app. UniConverter converts 4K/8K/HDR videos at lightning speed. Supports 1000+ formats, including popular audio and video formats like MP4, MOV, MKV, WMV, MP3, and more. It also enables alpha channel video output to MP4 and WEBM formats. Wondershare Filmora is an easy-to-use software. The drag-and-drop feature makes it easy to edit clips, audio files, etc. Wondershare Filmora’s user-friendly interface makes for smooth editing. AI features are not difficult to locate.
Interface
Wondershare Filmora has a very user-friendly interface. The full editor view resembles that of most video editing applications, with a three-panel layout for source content, video preview, and timeline across the bottom.
Everything can be operated from the tabs right on the main project page while the timeline is still accessible. You can also switch the layout using a button on the top-right control group with choices for default, organize, timeline, short video, and classic. No matter which layout you use, the program has a clean and simple interface for editing with ease.
Verdict:
Wondershare Filmora is a great video editing software for students and businesses. The software is easy to install and very easy to use. Filmora performs exceptionally well, and the render speeds exceed most other video editing software. You can also get the video file converter called “UniConverter,” which supports 1000+ formats. If only Filmora had multicam support and VR tools. The annual price of Wondershare Filmora is very competitive with other brands on the market, which, in my opinion, places it as one of the better options for video editing software available today.
