Plans & Pricing

Benchmark offers two paid email marketing plans. These are ‘Pro’ and ‘Enterprise.’ Each package begins with a contact list limit that can be upgraded. There’s also a free version of the platform with limitations, so users can try it out as long as needed.

Overall, Benchmark’s pricing structure is very affordable for the number of features provided.

With the Free plan, you can send 250 emails per month for $0. It includes basic email marketing features, such as lite automation, lead generation, and reporting.

The Pro package starts at $13/mo with 500 contacts, and unlimited email sends. You’ll have access to more advanced features, such as list verification and behavior-based emails.

You have to contact Benchmark for Enterprise pricing. The plan includes all the features from the other packages, white labeling, and a dedicated IP, among others. Having a dedicated IP can give you greater control over your reputation.

Ease of Use

The email marketing platform is perhaps the easiest one to use on the market right now. The user interface (UI) is stripped-back or super-clean, making it unbelievably simple to utilize. You can learn how to use most things in the system within minutes. There are also many support options and materials to aid users along the way, which is great for onboarding.

General Features

Benchmark has a lot of features or tools that can help companies succeed with email marketing. Some interesting features include the inbox checker, reports, landing pages, A/B testing, and surveys. The platform is easy to use and does everything you would want to see from a solution in its class.

Inbox Checker

Use the inbox checker feature to preview your emails and see how they’ll appear in various clients before sending them out. You can also test different spam filters to see if your email passes or fails.

  • Unlimited Emails
  • Image Library
  • Drag-and-Drop Editor
  • Multiple Users
  • Gmail Import
  • Sign-Up Forms
  • Google Analytics
  • Email Lists
  • Segmenting

Use Benchmark’s reporting feature to see how your campaigns, A/B tests, surveys, and polls perform. It also offers insights into automation and recipient complaints. For example, you can see how many spam complaints your company received.

A/B Testing

With A/B testing, you can test different email variables to improve campaign performance. That includes being able to test the body content and titles of your emails. You may use KPIs (key performance indicators), such as open or click rates, to pick the winners.

Use the survey feature to gather useful information from your email list. You can share surveys on a dedicated webpage and social media, such as Twitter or Facebook.

  • A/B Testing
  • Social Media Marketing
  • Surveys
  • Bounce Management
  • Tracking Analytics
  • Automated Email Responses
Landing pages

Benchmark provides a branded landing page builder that features a drag and drop editor. You can start with an editable template or build pages from scratch.

Benchmark comes with hundreds of impressive email marketing templates grouped by type, industry, and occasions (e.g., Christmas holiday). They also have templates for integrating specific platforms, such as eBay and Etsy. Plus, there are templates in Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish. Each design is modern-looking and highly customizable, which is fantastic considering how much is available.

  • Email Templates
  • Building Personalized Emails
  • Email & Mobile Preview
  • Flexible Design
  • Storage for Data & Images
  • Newsletter Templates

Benchmark’s pricing is more affordable than many of its competitors, even though fees depend on the number of subscribers you have. The platform is simple to use thanks to its intuitive UI, and the email editor is superb. And there are tons of customizable plus flexible templates available.

Advanced automation features help users set up automated campaigns with ease. Using the Automation Pro, you can create trigger-specific emails for things, such as an abandoned cart, review requests, Facebook ad retargeting, etc. The system also provides how-to information to help you get set up.

One drawback with Benchmark is their image storage capacity, which is 10 MB for the Free and Pro plans. But you can host your files elsewhere and link to them from the email content to overcome that limitation. Overall, Benchmark is a capable email marketing solution.

Very Good

I am happy with the tool and the customer support is always on hand to help out when the occasional issue comes up. I will admit that most things are not an issue but rather a failure on my end to figure something out. The solution is always so easy when

- The email newsletter design is simple to master
- Many templates to choose from
- The customer support is fast

- Some of the non-core features like landing pages are new so they still need work.

Great support

I would consider myself a heavy email user even if I do not use all the advanced features. Video is an important part of my marketing strategy and Benchmark supports that feature so I am pleased.

- Supports integrations with video in email
