Deluxe Payroll Services's Offerings
Deluxe has two payroll packages that both start at $45/mo. They also provide a free service of setup your new payroll system and conduct the data transfer for your previous payroll provider.
Some pricing can also be difficult to understand because the company doesn’t quote add-on pricing directly on its website. You have to get a quote to offer benefits administration, for example.
Customer Support
Deluxe customer support is divided into their many product categories on the site. Finding the correct number to call can be tricky, and there are no listed hours, email address, or chatbot. The Get Started button for Payroll redirects to a contact submission form.
Chatbot
Deluxe does not currently have a customer support chatbot on its site.
Email Support
There is no direct email option for customer support. After submitting my information on the website, I received a follow-up phone call from their support team in addition to my call placed to them.
Live Phone Conversation
Despite the somewhat arduous task of reaching customer service through other channels, the online conversation was pleasant and helpful. My call was answered on the 4th ring, and the representative was knowledgeable.
Online Resources
Deluxe has a blog, case studies, small business resources, and FAQs under its Resources tab.

Deluxe also has a dedicated YouTube Channel with searchable tutorials.

The sign-up process is simple at takes less than 10 minutes. The following business information is required to create an account:

●Business Banking Information – This will be verified by Deluxe
●Business Mailing Address
To run Payroll, employee/contractor address, SSN, and banking information is also needed. *Only address and SSN are needed if payment will be via paper check.

Verdict:
Deluxe Payroll is best for small to medium-sized businesses that are looking for easy-to-use payroll software with basic features. It does lack some advanced features such as mobile access, customized reporting, and automatic reminders. The software is easy to use. However, the lack of features may not make it the best option for larger businesses.
