The Pro paid plan is the most budget-friendly option that Munch offers. At just $49 per month, you can upload 200 minutes of video footage and generate engaging short clips from it to post on social media platforms.
Elite
The Elite plan is an excellent choice for small businesses and micro-influencers. At $116 per month, the video upload limit increases to 500 minutes. On top of all the features included in the Pro package, you also get the newest features and updates before the Pro subscribers. Other than the increase in video upload limit and access to the new features, the Elite plan is the same as the Pro plan.
You can also pay annually and get a discount, coming out to $96.6 a month instead. The Elite plan suits solo creators who want to create bulk content or those who manage multiple platforms and pages at one time.
Ultimate
The Ultimate plan unlocks access to all Munch features available in the Pro and Elite plans. Additionally, the monthly video upload limit is also twice as much as what’s included in the Elite plan, making it suitable for brands and media agencies.

Customer Support
You get access to the Messages feature where a team member responds to your queries, along with a Help Center with articles and faqs.
These methods are great for resolving your problems, though this may not happen immediately. Munch does not offer phone support, email contact, 24/7 support, or live online chat at the moment.
You can find FAQs, Guides, and Articles on their website. We found these informational resources super useful. There were detailed tutorials on tracking usage, uploading size limits, and other typical queries that users often have.
However, if someone is still looking for their answer via the help center, they can also contact the customer support team using the Messages option.
We liked that Munch AI has also incorporated the Help Center in the Messages box. This is a good way to assist people in getting their issues resolved quickly.
Going back to the Messages feature, we decided to test it by sending a refund query. However, the feature did not let us send the query in the first go. Instead, a chatbot asked a series of questions.
Based on the answers, the chatbot detected an issue and proposed a solution. Even though the solution was satisfactory, we decided to click the “I still need help” button to explore the extent of their support a bit more.
Overall, the customer support experience was good. It would be a bit better if Munch reduced the response time and allowed the user to state the query first so that the chatbot could offer personalized, useful solutions.

Munch’s primary functionality is to auto-generate short video clips from your uploaded footage. We have already discussed how it works in the Ease of Use section above. But this AI content repurposing tool can do much more than that. Let’s have a look at its other amazing features!
Keyword, Topic, and Branch Research
The tool also conducts separate keyword research for your video. It shows a chart with top keywords, search volume, munched clips, and competition. There are also charts for top trending keywords, brands, people, and topics.
This gives you better insights into which short video clips have the most potential to go viral. So, you can make an informed decision.
Tweaking For Social Media
Although Munch adjusts the aspect ratio and timeframe of the video clips, you can also fine-tune them manually. Each generated video clip has an Edit button available like this:
When you click it, Munch takes you to a dedicated video editor. You can use it to tweak the cropping, aspect ratio, auto title, and subtitles.
You can also edit the AI-generated social media posts for TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter through Magic Posts. However, you can’t edit the colors, brightness, contrasts, or other elements of the footage.
The cropping tool has two modes; automatic and manual. We tried manual mode but it did not allow us to choose the dimensions of our choice. The most you can do is move the yellow rectangle from left to right.
The aspect ratio option is pretty basic too. It allows you to either keep the layout original or choose the 9:16 ratio that is used for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok. There is no way to choose a custom layout.
The title is automatically generated by the tool. But here, you can change it to whatever you deem appropriate. You can also select the title timing, font style, size, color, background color, and much more.
Similar to Title, the Subtitle option enables you to make changes in the text and the way it looks on the video. You can also choose a template and apply it to the video.
Moving onto the last option, Magic Posts automatically creates captions with hashtags for your social media accounts. You can edit the text here before the post gets scheduled.
Subtitles and Captions
By default, Munch produces video clips with English subtitles and captions. You can select different styles and fonts in which the text will show up on the video. But if you want to tailor your content to a specific region, multilingual support is also available.
You can change the text to 16 different languages, including Chinese, Hindi, Russian, Dutch, Japanese, Korean, Turkish, and Vietnamese.
Publish Manager
The Publish Manager is an excellent feature to track your progress. It shows all the scheduled video clips in one place. You can check several details, like status, title, caption, and platforms.

There is a clearly labeled menu on the left side to access different options. In the middle, there are two sample projects to tweak and understand how Munch works.
However, as mentioned before, you can’t create your projects unless you subscribe to a paid plan. If you click the big plus button or the Create New button on the top panel on a free account, you will be redirected to the pricing plans page.
Overall, we found the AI-powered tool very easy to use. It doesn’t have a complicated or hard-to-navigate interface. Everything is just a few clicks away from the main screen, which makes it a great option for both beginners and experts.
Learning curve:
Getting started on Munch is a breeze. You will find a red Start Now button on the top panel to create an account. Users who already have an account can click on Login.
Once you do that, Munch asks you to sign up using an email or a Google account. We opted for Google because it doesn’t require any verification or tab-switching. One click and you’re into the software!
Munch shows all your projects on the main page. You can use the big plus button to add more projects or the arrows at the bottom to browse through the existing ones.
There is also a Publish Manager on the side menu. Clicking on it reveals a list of your scheduled content for different social media platforms. You can edit the fields like Title and Magic Post directly from here.
On the Integrations page, you can connect your TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube accounts to Munch. This is important if you want the scheduled content to be automatically posted across all your accounts.
Facebook is currently not available, but Munch claims to be working on it. The Plans page shows you the features of different pricing plans. You can select one and pay through your debit or credit card.
Video generating process:
Since Munch is an AI-based tool, you only have to input the data to generate short video clips from long footage. First, you need to create a new project by clicking on the big plus button.
Next, Munch asks you whether the project is for TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, Linkedin, or Instagram. This allows the AI app to analyze the content accordingly and create short clips that will perform best on those particular social media apps.
After the selection, you can upload the long-form video directly from the computer or insert the link to your public YouTube video. Munch will automatically source it to the tool and start processing.
Next, you will select the Subtitle template, give a name to your project, describe the video source, and choose the optimal length. Click on Munch It and you will receive a bunch of short video clips, like in the screenshot above.
