Plans And Pricing:
Exact pricing for NetSuite isn’t clear because there are so many features and other variables that make things confusing. That said, there are three main plans that all have their own core functionalities.
NetSuite offers free product tours and 14-day free trials to help you decide if the application is right for you.
Customer Support
Being a large company owned by a larger company, NetSuite offers its customers numerous avenues through which they can receive help. These include phone, live chat, email, and plenty of self-help resources.
That said, the customer support availability differs between plans. All customers get 24/7 support for the most critical issues, but only those with a higher-level plan can access support for non-critical issues around the clock.
Features & Functionality
General Features
Robust Financial Tools
NetSuite has it all when it comes to accounting and financial management. Inside its platform, you’ll find core accounting functions, billing, global accounting reconciliation & consolidation, financial planning & reporting, revenue recognition management, and GRC (governance, risk, and compliance) features.
Marketing Features
Many financial-related business solutions focus more on the accounting and finance side of things. Some might also sprinkle in a bit of marketing.
On the other hand, NetSuite offers a suite of marketing tools that you can integrate right into your NetSuite CRM. It provides a full selection of tools dedicated solely to email marketing, such as cart abandonment emails and personalization tools.
Additionally, NetSuite offers partner relationship management and customer service management functionality, among other things. It really aims to let you do everything on one platform.
Supply Chain Management
NetSuite has also developed modules that let you manage your entire supply chain. You can evaluate your supply and weigh it against the demand to plan for the future. From there, you can put in purchase orders and work orders as needed to make your plan come true. Plus, you can integrate the supply chain tools with customer service management to track customer warranties, issue support tickets, and more.
Reporting and Analytics
No business solution would be complete without reporting and analytics, and NetSuite comes in heavy with these features. It offers an entire platform called SuiteAnalytics dedicated to this.
SuiteAnalytics offers the ability to perform highly complex data analysis tasks yet simplifies the UI enough so that doing so is easy — even for inexperienced users. You can save searches and reports, create pivot tables and charts with drag-and-drop, create advanced filters, and more.
NetSuite is also working on advanced AI and machine learning to implement into the platform for even more powerful insights.

Track Expenses

Tax Preparation

Time-Saving Automations

Add-Ons
Many of NetSuite’s other features come as add-ons. Here are a few of the most notable.
Omni-Channel Commerce Features
Inside NetSuite’s SuiteCommerce, you’ll find a host of omnichannel commerce features that are useful whether you’re B2B or B2C. It offers tools for e-commerce, Points-Of-Sale, order management, product content management, and more. You get an integrated e-commerce storefront with which you can build a site and list a large number of products.
Project Management
NetSuite lets you add on its project management suite, which offers Gantt charts, task management, expense tracking, project billing, automation, much more.

Supported Devices

Ease Of Use:
NetSuite does its best to make its platform easy to use. It’s not the easiest, though, as the number of features can be overwhelming. In fact, there are tons of consultants out there who earn money helping businesses move to NetSuite.
That said, NetSuite offers training programs and extensive live and self-help support resources to shorten the learning curve a bit.
Verdict:
NetSuite offers a comprehensive platform for businesses in nearly any industry to handle their accounting, supply chain, marketing, customer support, and more. The ability to add and remove modules to the core NetSuite functionality makes it attractive to businesses in need of a tailored solution.
That said, it’s pricey, and the software can be challenging to use for a while. As mentioned, there are consultants making good money assisting organizations with their move to NetSuite.
Still, you can’t deny that NetSuite confers plenty of benefits to your business if it’s within your budget and you’re willing to embrace the learning curve.
