HubSpot Review 2025

Category: Merchant Services
HubSpot has become one of the most recognizable brands in the digital marketing world, and for good reason. For years, the brand has helped countless business owners with its smart tools, and the Commerce Hub is the ultimate solution for turning interest into revenue. Instead of juggling multiple platforms for quoting, reporting, customer data, and payments, the Commerce Hub streamlines everything into one powerful system. Businesses can accept payments, use customized payment links, automate invoicing, use subscription billing, and integrate with their existing CRM — all from a single dashboard. In this Hubspot merchant services review, I'll look at features, performance, customer service, and pricing.

HubSpot Merchant Services's Offerings

HubSpot offers a free CMS with premium cloud hosting, strong security features, and a drag-and-drop editor. It integrates seamlessly with HubSpot’s customer platform, allowing businesses to build, manage, and optimize their websites while driving traffic and generating leads.

Customer Support

Hubspot wouldn’t reach the level it’s at without a great customer support system. A company that started as a one-man-band became a multinational corporation helping businesses in more than 130 countries around the world. Having a great customer support system is the backbone of every business, such as Hubspot.

When I tested HubSpot’s merchant services software, I wanted to see how responsive their support team was. I started with live chat, available for HubSpot Starter Pack users. The response time was quick, and the representative was knowledgeable about online payment solutions and troubleshooting payment gateway issues.

I also tried out the phone support which is available for Professional and Enterprise users. The call connected within minutes, and the agent walked me through setting up electronic check processing and managing virtual cards for online payment. For businesses relying on online payment platforms, this direct support is a big plus.

Free users don’t have direct support but Hubspot has made a TON of helpful information available for all users. Community guides include an extensive amount of information from Hubspot experts and long-time users who have shared their custom experiences with the software.

The Knowledge Base feature includes how-to articles for all Hubspot features and hubs, from beginner to expert.

For users who are just starting, there are also many videos included in the Hubspot Academy.

Hubspot Academy

These videos include tutorials from Hubspot experts and are carefully curated to help users learn all the ins and outs. The great thing about the Hubspot Academy is that users can get accredited after watching the courses.

Performance:

When I worked with the HubSpot’s Commerce Hub, I found its performance to be comprehensive and efficient, particularly in payment processing.

Speed

Transactions processed through Stripe are typically immediate, ensuring swift payment confirmations. However, ACH payments can take up to a few days due to the approval process. HubSpot advises waiting until ACH payments are fully approved before delivering goods or services to customers.

Reliability

HubSpot’s infrastructure is designed for high reliability. Data is replicated across multiple data centers, and in the event of a server failure, processing is seamlessly switched to a replica server in another location, minimizing service interruptions. Additionally, HubSpot maintains hourly and daily backups for each data store, ensuring data integrity and availability.

Features

The Commerce Hub offers a comprehensive suite of tools, including customizable storefronts, advanced product catalog management, order tracking, and seamless payment integration. These features enable businesses to build and optimize their online stores effortlessly, providing a great shopping experience for customers.

Overall, HubSpot’s Commerce Hub delivers a reliable and feature-rich platform for businesses seeking efficient online payment solutions.

Ease Of Use:

I found the setup process for Hubspot’s Commerce Hub to be incredibly smooth. Creating an account takes just a few minutes, and once inside, businesses have access to a full suite of online payment solutions. The platform may seem packed with features at first, but everything is designed for ease of use.

For new users, I recommend checking out HubSpot Academy and the Knowledge Base, both of which offer free, in-depth guides on setting up online payment processing services and integrating them into your business. The more I used the Commerce Hub tool, the more intuitive it became, reducing the need for outside payment processors.

The payment gateway supports multiple e-commerce payment methods, including electronic check processing, virtual cards for online payment, and direct invoicing. Plus, with the HubSpot app, managing transactions on the go is effortless, making it an ideal online payment platform for growing businesses.

Here’s a quick walkthrough:

Uniqueness:

Hubspot is one of the most complete CRMs on the market. It includes features that can be used in both small businesses and huge enterprises, and it makes running a business as easy as possible.

The Commerce Hub addition provides users with a number of unique features that simplify the process of transforming leads into buyers. With the available payment processors included in the Commerce Hub, it’s as easy as it gets to make sales as fast as possible.

Verdict:

It’s a no-brainer that Hubspot, with its Commerce Hub, represents one of the most powerful tools out there. Although this CRM offers a wide variety of incredibly powerful tools, and it can be used in a variety of commerce businesses, the Commerce Hub is a great tool for both small commerce businesses as well as expanding commerce businesses.

One of the biggest reasons why the Commerce Hub is a great tool for small commerce businesses is the fact that it offers many free tools, and even the starter pack isn’t expensive compared to the number of features added.
