Plans for QuickBooks accountant software range from $35/mo to $235/mo. Each plan has added benefits and helps manage all aspects of your business. They offer 50% off for the first 3 months plus a free guided setup and a 30-day free trial. They also offer a desktop software version for $799/yr.
Customer Support
They offer a live chat option with a QuickBooks virtual concierge. QuickBooks also provides a support phone number to call, an email address, as well as community support with options like “Ask the community” and “Quickbooks Q&A”.
Phone Support
They support number first directs you to an automated system that tries to help you solve any problems and answer questions before sending you to a representative for assistance.
The wait time was estimated at one minute by the automated system. I was directed to speak to a representative within three minutes of the start of the call. The wait was actually about five minutes, however, they were very helpful in answering my questions and assisting me.
Live Chat
I contacted them via the live chat option on the website. I asked questions about setting up an account and pricing and they were accommodating and responded within 2 minutes. I was then directed to the site’s page with pricing options.

QuickBooks Account Dashboard offers an easy-to-navigate layout. On the main page of the dashboard, you have quick links which allow you to access your account overview, bookkeeping, payroll, client list, tasks, sales, banking, reports, workflows, time, etc. It’s also to use with good accounting reports.
Payment Features
QuickBooks has great features to setup automatic recurring transactions and automated bank feeds. It’s also easy to set up your clients and payments. You can also quickly set up and manage payroll for your employees. Invoicing is also very simple with their integrated software. You can accept or make payments in multiple currencies with the multicurrency option, after enabling it in your account settings. Adding invoices and payments to vendors or expenses automatically creates a total- to-date that assists in creating monthly expense reports.
Invoicing Features
Invoice Importing
You can import receipts, digital invoice documents, and printed receipts on any of the expense or bill payment options when using the QuickBooks Accounting application for mobile phones. The software will pull data from uploaded documents when you use the mobile app. The login page on the QuickBooks website for online accounting software will not pull data from uploaded receipts or invoices, and you will have to manually enter all expense and bill information. That includes vendor, date, amount, category, type of payment used, memo or description, and attachment (copy of physical receipt).

QuickBooks reports are very detailed and cover multiple parameters, including: Business Overview, Who owes you, Sales and Customers, What you owe, Expenses and Vendors, Employees, For my Accountant, and Payroll.
You can also choose and favorite which metrics you prefer to track.
Ease Of Use:
The Quickbooks software was really easy to sign up for and only took a couple of minutes. The dashboard has a very good layout and is easy to navigate. The features are easily accessible and have video tutorials for guided use.

For new expenses and bill payments you have to add a new vendor and manually type in their information. The pay vendor option works smoothly as well, so you can set up recurring payments. It works well to schedule payments for preferred dates and you can set up automated payments and bank feeds. Reports can be fully customized with category, vendor, location, dates, amounts paid, and more.
Verdict:
QuickBooks is ideal for small businesses and cost for value is very reasonable. The platform has a lot of helpful features and is very easy to use. Overall QuickBooks is the gold-standard for managing your business accounts payable and accounting, anytime and anywhere.
