LegalShield’s business formation service is called “Launch,” which helps with forming your LLC from an experienced small business lawyer. The cost for filing is $149 + State Filing Fees.
LegalShield offers membership plans that provide ongoing legal services to small business owners throughout their nationwide network of law firms. This is divided into 3 tiers based on needs. The more you pay monthly, the more comprehensive your coverage will be.
Their first tier is the Small Business Essentials plan for $49/mo and includes unlimited phone consultations, limited document reviews, debt collection letters, 25% off attorney’s fees, and two designated users.
The next tier is the Small Business Plus plan for 99/mo, which includes increased document reviews, calls, debt collection letters, and IRS audit services. It also includes additional pre-trial work hours and up to 3 designated users.
Finally, their Small Business Pro Plan for $169/mo includes all features of Essentials & Plus with increased work hours and up to 5 designated users.
For an extra $14.95/month, you’ll get the Business Plus Supplement offering professional consulting help on how to run your business better, access to a library of business forms, an easy-to-use website builder, and a customer tool that helps build client engagement.
Customer Support
LegalShield offers customer support vis phone during their business hours from Monday- Friday, 8am – 6pm Central time or Sunday, from 10am-7pm Central time. For email inquiries, they typically reply within one business day. The site also features blog articles and a comprehensive FAQ section.

I also reached out to them via email and received a response in 7 hours. However, the response directed me to the LegalShield website and did not answer my question directly.
Live Phone Conversation
Although only available during business hours during weekdays, my phone call was answered on the 2nd ring and the agent was knowledgeable regarding my request for information on branding and trademark issues.
Overall Experience
My experience with customer support was mostly positive in that I had to take further action regarding the email follow-up. Aside from that, the only drawback is their limited hours of availability.

The homepage is organized and tabbed with helpful categories. However, it took some effort to find the Launch page to begin the LLC filing process. Due to the sheer volume of services that LegalShield provides, finding the desired section can be a little overwhelming.
New Customer Sign-up Experience
Once getting onto the Launch Page, the sign-up process was simple. LegalShield does not collect business details until after payment is made, but their interface is clear and easy to understand.

For a low monthly fee, being a LegalShield member is like having a powerhouse law firm at your fingertips for all matters related to managing and scaling your small business.
