ClickUp is an all-in-one work management platform designed to replace multiple productivity apps. It provides tools for task management, team collaboration, time tracking, and workflow automation. Users can access features like Kanban boards, Gantt charts, whiteboards, sprint planning, goal setting, and integrations with various third-party apps. The platform is scalable for individuals, small teams, mid-sized businesses, and large enterprises, offering advanced permissions, reporting, and customization options. Additionally, ClickUp provides AI-powered productivity tools, live training support, and enterprise-grade security features.
Customer Support
NetSuite offers a solid range of support options to its customers so you’re able to choose the ones that work best for you. You can also purchase premium support as an add-on to your basic support service. The support reps are knowledgeable enough to solve most problems on the first interaction but it’s not the fastest support service available.

Project billing
The platform has multiple options that will allow you to bill projects in a way that makes the most sense for you and your clients. You can bill based on project completion, specific milestones, or a regular timeframe. These billing types can be created specifically for a project or can be recycled from previous uses. It’ll calculate the billable hours (if that’s how you’re charging) and add them to an invoice to be sent to your clients.
Budgeting
Budgeting is an essential aspect of project management and NetSuite works to make sure you stay on time and on budget. You can create an initial budget or job costing and then keep track of it to understand how much you’ve truly spent on the project. Since it’s an entire ERP, it’ll automatically make deductions and additions to the right expense accounts so your books are always up to date.

Powerful reporting is a must and NetSuite delivers in that regard. It offers dozens of reports which can be automatically generated depending on how you’re using the platform. For example, there are reports comparing the budget of a project vs the actual expenditures, unbilled time, earned value by project, and so much more.
The platform is accessible via mobile application and web browsers which makes it possible to stay abreast of important work irrespective of where you are. Of course, It’s compatible with almost every single web browser out there.
One drawback is that it has few native integrations. Instead, it has connector services that let you pull in data or send out data from third-party services. While this may work, the integrations aren’t supported by NetSuite and you may need to maintain them yourself in certain instances.
Ease Of Use:
Surprisingly, NetSuite is considered by its customers to be easy to use even though it has deep functionality. For an average user, you can learn the core of the platform within a few days or hours. It also has many articles that will push you along if you get stuck. With that being said, it takes a lot more effort and training to become proficient with the software because it has a large range of advanced features. If most users are only going to be using the top-level functions then they should be right at home. For the advanced users, it may take dedicated training so make sure you plan adequately for that before getting started.
Verdict:
NetSuite is, in a word, expansive. Founded over twenty years ago, it has grown into a product suite that serves nearly every aspect of small and medium businesses across a variety of industries. It has accounting functions, billing, analytics, CRM, and project management. All of these tools work together to help keep your business functioning properly. On the project management side, it allows you to create tasks, budget for projects, bill directly from the platform, and even forecast risk.
In addition to these core features, it has many advanced features that allow you to dig into the weeds such as robust reporting and more. One issue is that it doesn’t clearly state pricing publicly and it doesn’t integrate directly with other platforms. If those aren’t deal-breakers then Oracle NetSuite is a powerful project management tool worth checking out.
