Rippling HR's Offerings
Rippling plans and pricing are determined on what products you want to use: HR, IT, Finance, etc. The plan starts at $8/mo per user. They don’t list any more information on their pricing without signing up for a software demo to learn more. Rippling does not offer a free version, nor does it offer a free trial.
Customer Support
Rippling customer support does not list specific days and times, but it does have a Real-Time Support status page on the site with published support metrics in real-time.
Email Support
There is no direct email support available, but I was able to submit a request through their online submission form. I received a reply within 3 hours asking for additional business information.
Live Phone Conversation
My phone consultation with the Rippling support team was helpful and centered around scheduling a product demo. I received a callback following a chatbot request.
Chatbot
There is a customer support chatbot on the Rippling site that redirects to a live chat when available.
Online Resources
Rippling has a searchable blog on the website divided into categories. They also have templates and an events calendar under the Resource tab. There is also a Help Center with FAQs and easy-to-search topics. Rippling also has a dedicated YouTube Channel with tutorials and helpful tips.
Overall Experience
My overall experience with their support was positive. The site makes multiple attempts to funnel a user into a phone call, which is helpful to new users needing a price quote. As expected, this leads to upsell attempts.

Onboarding
With Rippling, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party apps like slack and Microsoft 365 all within 90 seconds.
Payroll Management
Rippling allows administrators to enter payroll for all employees based on salary or total hours worked. Has payroll reporting features as well. You can easily set up payroll for employees during the onboarding process.
Employee Scheduling
Plan employee work shifts according to availability and provide notifications to employees when they are scheduled.
Candidate Tracking
Integrates with calendars and allows the scheduling of phone screens and interviews. Enables users to share feedback on candidates. Candidates can view where they are in the hiring process as well as track candidates’ spots in the hiring process.
Tax Filing
Rippling files payroll tax forms automatically for federal, state, and local taxes. Rippling calculates taxes due and may include resources or tools for federal and state tax compliance.

Users can customize their dashboard with functions and operations they prefer to use or need to use more often. Everything can be viewed easily from your dashboard. Nothing stands out from Rippling’s customization options of which other platforms offer as well.
Search and Filter Functions
Searches for qualified candidates by integrating with career sites. Filter settings are easy to use and apply preferences.
Automated Reminders
Rippling sends automatic reminders to employees who have not completed expense reports and/or timesheets. Also remind new hires to if they have unfinished documentation during the hiring process.
Verdict:
Rippling is great HR software designed for small-midsize businesses. The software is an all-in-one platform that lets administrators manage operations from HR to IT with a single click. The plans are affordable and customized for each user and what features and products they will utilize so you only pay for what you need. The software also has a lot of great features built-in and integrates with 3rd party applications.
