For organizations, Sketch offers their Business plan, which includes additional collaboration and team management features. In addition to the subscription plans, it also offers a free trial for new users to try out the software before committing to a purchase.
*It’s worth noting that Sketch is only available for Mac, so users on other operating systems will need to use a different design tool.

Features & Functionality
Design Features
Sketch’s vector editing, prototyping, and collaboration tools make it excellent for creating high-quality designs. As a design platform, Sketch is packed with useful features and tools. It does, however, lack features for those that need hosting, eCommerce functions, and anything else associated with a full website builder. Click the video for a quick tour:

Content Features
Easily manage and update website content.

Integrations & Addons
Expand functionality with seamless integrations.

Performance:
Lag
I used Sketch via 3 separate WiFi networks and had no issues with overall performance. The design functions updated quickly with little to no lag time. Adding, editing, changing, and saving components was instantaneous. Check out the Drag & Drop Editor video below for a live demo.
Collaboration
Sketch is known for its collaboration tools, which allow designers to work together seamlessly and create designs that are responsive and adaptable to different devices and screen sizes. The only drawback is that users need to be within the Mac app for real-time collaboration. Otherwise, comments and edits can be made through the browser app. Click the video for a detailed explanation:
Ease Of Use:
Initial Sign-Up
Initial sign-up and setup were quick but did require the download of their Mac App to get started. The whole process took less than a couple of minutes. Check out the video for a walk-through of the sign-up process:
Templates & Themes
The Sketch Library includes a range of templates for different types of designs, including web pages, mobile app interfaces, and more. In addition to the templates provided by Sketch, users can also create their own templates or download templates from third-party sources. In this video, we take a tour of Sketch’s template options:
Drag & Drop Editor
The drag & drop editor is responsive with a very simple interface. In this video, we create and edit a basic page:
Prototyping
One of the unique features of Sketch is the ability to quickly create and share a prototype that includes a convenient template for beginners. Click the video for details:
Code Editing
Sketch does not have a code editing function, but users can download and share project coding with developers directly from the platform.
Uniqueness:
Sketch’s vector editing, prototyping, and collaboration tools make it a unique and powerful web designer.
Verdict:
Sketch is a powerful and user-friendly web design tool that is widely used by professionals in the field. Its vector editing, prototyping, and collaboration tools make it a valuable tool. Sketch does have some limitations, though. It is only compatible with macOS and does not allow for code editing. For purposes of design and collaboration, it is one of the most user-friendly and customizable tools I’ve used.
