Interested customers can schedule a free Stax demo to check out its services before buying. You can choose from several plans if you decide Stax is right for you. They offer a basic Merchant Processing account, as well as three other plans that provide additional features. It looks like you must select one of these plans to accompany your Merchant Processing account, but it’s hard to tell.

No matter which plan you choose, there are no:

  • Batch fees
  • Cancellation fees
  • PCI compliance fees
  • Statement fees

So you save plenty on fees

Merchant Processing
+ $0.08-0.15/transaction
or 2.9% flat-rate

Merchant Processing

Merchant Processing starts at $99/month + $0.08/transaction & direct cost (swiped payments) or $0.15/transaction & direct cost (keyed payments). Alternatively, you pay a flat 2.9% rate if you process under $80,000 in payments annually. This plan comes with some analytics tools, cloud tech for keyed payments, and card-present technology for swiped payments.

Starter costs a flat $49/month, making it relatively affordable for small businesses who’d like the extra features inside. Alongside the Merchant Processing account basics, these features include lite dashboards and reporting, Facebook and Google review management, and a 24/7 Online Knowledge Base and Service Ticket Hub.

Growth costs $89/month. This $40 jump in price brings you basic dashboards and reporting (an upgrade from Lite), an invoice generator, Text2Pay SMS payments, a customer text message center, the ability to store cards on file, lite customer management features, and a dedicated account manager.

At the top is Pro, costing $129/month. Pro provides everything in the other plans, plus premium dashboards and reporting, scheduled and recurring invoices and payments, advanced customer management, data exporting, a card-on-file auto-updater, and a one-click shopping cart, to name a few new things.

Ease of Use

Stax is pretty easy to use. This is especially when you look at the Omni portal. Additionally, Stax offers a tutorial for using the portal.

Customer Support

Stax has several customer support options, and each of them is pretty good. If you jump up to a higher-tier plan, you get a dedicated account manager for faster and more personalized service.

General Features

Customer Management

Stax lets you collect data on and manage your customers with their customer database. This database tracks information like payment methods, purchase history, and other matters. With this information, you can find ways to improve your marketing for your products or services.

Omni Integrated Payments

Stax created Omni Integrated Payments to help streamline several aspects of your business. Not only does it collect your transaction data (and all sorts of other data) in one place, but it offers several other features such as business tool integrations and plenty of reports.

eCommerce Shopping Cart

If you upgrade to the Pro plan, you can access a one-click shopping cart to stick on your store. The easier it is to check out, the more revenue you’ll pull in.

Reporting and Analytics

Each plan comes with successively better and more useful reporting and analytics suites. Once again, Stax’s Omni Integrated Payments offers reporting and analytics as well. You can check out data on your transactions, sales, item categories, and more.

Integrations & Add-Ons

Stax’s two-way Quickbooks integration lets you easily sync your transaction data with your books, streamlining your accounting. Likewise, any relevant changes in Quickbooks will be reflected accordingly in Stax.

Stax also integrates with various PoS systems. However, they don’t make it clear which ones. You may have to contact your PoS provider and find out. Lastly, Stax offers an API for developers.

Stax’s monthly pricing is nice to see, and it’s relatively transparent. Some of the plans go way beyond just payment processing. The Omni Channel Payments provides plenty of features, and all integrations offered sweetened the deal. The pricing might be high for low-volume businesses, so consider Stax only if you’re high volume or on the way there.

Ideal for any business!

A flat fee is charged by the credit card processor based on your annual sales (this can vary depending on your job if it's seasonal), and you only pay the actual credit card company fees. Other companies charge a % upcharge

One stop shop for merchant services

A lot of great features are available on this platform. Charges, logs, and invoices may be generated easily on the spot. It's like a one-stop-shop.

With Stax merchant processing, you pay a low, fixed monthly fee rather than hidden fees that cannot be determined. It is easy to use, and they are very helpful over the phone. The best part, however, is the overall cost savings.

Outstanding merchant service system

Stax offers simple, low, flat-rate monthly fees for our merchant processing. Nonetheless, the savings are the most impressive!
