Web.com Website Builders's Offerings
Full Terms and Conditions can be found on the Web.com website.
Web.com is unique amongst website builders because it doesn’t offer a free plan or even a free trial for users to get a feel for the platform. With that being said, it offers inexpensive prices for the first month (less than five dollars) and a money-back guarantee.
Web.com is much cheaper than similar solutions on the market. The feature set is a bit limited but should meet your needs if you’re just starting out or don’t need your website to do anything too advanced.
Customer Support
Web.com offers support via multiple channels and formats. It has video tutorials and guides for those who are just getting started with the platform. It also has a help center that deals with specific issues people may encounter. There is phone support, and a live chat team standing by for most of the week.
Features & Functionality
Design
Design & Templates
Web.com has a huge selection of templates across different categories which include business services, art & design, education, nonprofit, and many more. The designs are passable and will help you build a good-looking website but none of them will win an award. The focus seems to be on getting you online quickly and there’s little design flexibility as you don’t have access to HTML or CSS.
One thing that Web.com does that other website builders seem to ignore is providing a blank template. This allows you to start designing your website from scratch without having to deal with dummy content and present design choices. The good news is that the way toe website builder works, it’s easy to create a good-looking site – even if you start from scratch.

Marketing
Reputation and review management
The platform offers reputation management software that allows you to track your reviews and mentions across thousands of blogs, news sites, and social platforms. They’re consolidated in a single dashboard so you can keep an eye on how your brand is being perceived and act accordingly. You can also monitor competitors and get in front of any opportunity as it arises.
Business email
It won’t do for you to have a branded website but email customers and potential partners with a Gmail or Yahoo! address. Web.com provides up to 5 business email addresses to match your complimentary domain and 2GB of storage so you can stay professional.
eCommerce
Web.com offers simple eCommerce features that focus on getting you set up quickly. With the largest package, you can add up to 50 products, collect payments, and manage shipping to anywhere in the world. The checkout has also been optimized to reduce the rate of cart abandonment and put more money in your pocket.

Hosting
Reliable hosting solutions to support your site.

Multimedia
Incorporate videos, images, and more for dynamic websites.

Good For
Ideal for small businesses, individuals, and enterprises.

Ease Of Use:
If you’ve used a site builder before then you should be right at home with Web.com. It has a WYSIWYG drag-and-drop editor. The changes you make and see while editing are the same changes your website visitors will see. There are multiple beginner guides and tutorials when you first register but you can skip over those and still find your way around the platform.
When you right-click on an element within the design area, it opens up a menu that shows you all of the actions you can take like changing the colors, text, shadows, etc. Web.com has something most other website builders don’t – a spell checker. This allows you to type your text directly into the editing areas and be sure the major mistakes have been removed.
Finally, there are grid lines to help you align elements as you drop them into place.
Depending on where the closest grid line is, what you’re adding to your design will snap into place.
Verdict:
Web.com is an old player in the website builder and hosting space. This is a good thing and a bad thing at the same time. Some of its designs and features are part of a bygone era but it has the resources to continue growing if an effort is made in the right direction. Its website builder is simple, has a large collection of templates to choose from, offers email marketing, and even allows you to sell products online.
It also boasts a reputation management and reviews management tool that’ll help you stay on top of your brand. Though there are many templates and features, some of them are quite simple and customization is often limited. If you don’t need too many bells and whistles for your website then Web.com is an inexpensive choice that you can be sure about.
