Zoho has multiple plans available at various price points, including offering a free plan. They also have a number of upgrades available at an additional cost.
Customer Support
Zoho Books has multiple customer service options, however, the phone and live chat options are only available to paid users. The email option is available to users on the free plan.
Live Chat
The live chat support option was very helpful, and they put me in touch with a representative in under a minute. The representative helped answer my questions and responded very quickly to each question I asked.
Email Support
Email support is the only available customer service option if you have the free version of the Zoho Books software. While they take 24-48 hours to respond via email, the representative was thorough and answered all of my questions. The live chat option is obviously preferable, as you get support in real time. With email support, users have to submit messages through the website and will receive a response by email within 24-hours.
Video Tutorials
Zoho Books has numerous tutorial and demo videos available on their YouTube channel. The videos are helpful walk-throughs which explain in-depth how the software works and performs. It’s extremely helpful if you need more assistance using a specific feature and don’t want to wait for support.
Overall Experience
The customer support on Zoho Books was very informative and helpful in answering all of my questions and I received a timely response to my queries.

Account Dashboard
Zoho Books account dashboard has a great layout with updated reports on the home page so you can see how your business is performing. The links to the features and functions of the software are on the toolbar on the left side of the dashboard’s homepage.
Integrations
Zoho Books integrates with multiple applications for your business. Zoho CRM will manage invoices and estimates related to customers within your Zoho CRM account. Zoho Mail will allow you to access mail conversations you had with your customers right from your Zoho Books account. Sign your financial documents in Zoho Books digitally by integrating with Zoho Sign. Zoho Expense does everything, from instant employee reimbursements to customizable approval workflows.
Payment Features
Zoho Books has a magnitude of payment methods. You can pay with automatic bank feeds with supported banks. All top debit and credit card companies are supported through payment with Zoho Books. It’s also easy to connect your bank account or credit card to Zoho or you can make payments from a PayPal account.

Zoho Books has an invoice feature but all information needs to be entered manually. The software doe’s not collect data from uploaded invoice files, which isn’t ideal. The Zoho Invoice feature also has many templates with customizable options for creating invoices. They allow you to completely customize your company invoices, to maintain your brand identity.

Reports
Zoho Finance is where you will find your suite of features for finance reports. The main features in the finance section of Zoho Books are books, invoices, expenses, inventory, subscriptions, and checkout. They show a brief cash flow report upon signing into your account on the dashboard. Zoho Books has integrated software to allow real-time payment data reporting. The software automatically collects data for reports like total receivables, total payables, cash flow, income & expense, top expenses, projects, bank, and credit cards.

The Zoho Books platform is very easy to find and use the features and functions included. All features are on the left of the screen in the “Tool Bar” for quick access and are intuitive.
Its fairly easy to find and pay vendors using the Zoho Books platform under the “Purchases” tab on the tool bar. Users can also schedule payments in advance for any upcoming bill or expense.
Customize Reports
Zoho Books has extensive customization options for invoice creation. You can easily personalize your invoices with a logo, address, contact information, and more. Zoho Books has many invoice templates to get started creating.
Zoho Books Account Sign Up
Zoho Books has a very simple and easy signup process. It only takes a minute or two and you are sent to the account dashboard with a short eight-step walkthrough to familiarize yourself with the platform. Once you are in the dashboard, you’re ready to start using Zoho Books and everything the software offers, depending on your membership plan.
