Features & Functionality
General Features
Portfolio and Experience
Canva offers a wide variety of templates to build on. There are more than 250,000+ free templates, hundreds of design types, layouts, and fonts to choose from. However, you may be disappointed in terms of the look and feel of the finalized logo because limited functionality or features narrows down the work outlook. No skill is required to use it, and the result comes in both text and symbol.
Design Process
Canva is here to bring your vision to life. Bring your imagination to life in minutes with this step-by-step guide on designing a logo in Canva.
1. To start, choose a logo template.
2. Select your color palette for your design.
3. Add text to showcase your brand name.
4. Next, pick the proper fonts as the look of your font can have a massive impact on your logo.
5. Add your elements. These extra touches include shapes, lines, illustrations, etc., which need to be combined to be visually appealing.
6. Now finish and save a copy of your logo.
You can customize elements like font style, color, and illustration on your logo. You can create other versions of your logo so that they can be used on letterheads, business cards, email signatures, etc. Lastly, you can save it as a PNG file.

Export high-quality logos ready for various applications.

Ease Of Use:
Canva is very easy to use, even more, accessible than most design platforms. Once you’ve chosen the template and layout you like, the next thing is customization. This aspect is also relatively easy as it has been attributed to be “drag and drop.”
Verdict:
Canva is an excellent option for anyone who wants an accessible or affordable design/logo. Yes, Canva has its shortcomings, but that does not make it any less efficient design tool. The in-built templates are there to help you create a logo/design with minimal stress. Overall, the flexible features for creation and export make this a slick tool for even a rookie to operate.
User Review

- No cons for me
- All the elements, songs, fonts, etc are all you need!
- Differnt than other logo makers in that you have to do more work to get a final product.
- The elements are super easy to work with. You can move them around or delete them in one click. The backgrounds and texts offered are also well built and simple to use.
- I still think that the Wix or Tailor Brands logo maker could get the job done much faster and efficiently.
- Modern and stylish templates.
- My biggest challenge was the drag and drop. The editor makes it very customizable, however it was a very particular and finicky process trying to perfect each element.
