Paycom Payroll Services's Offerings
Paycom’s pricing is not publicly listed on its site. They offer a personalized demo, followed by a custom quote based on the business’s needs. Monthly subscription and per-employee fees are common for payroll service providers.
Reports from Paycom users indicate a setup fee of $500 for 15 employees and $1,200 for 40 employees, which includes training and implementation. The monthly fee per employee ranges from $4 to $6.
Customer Support
Paycom offers various customer support options, including an extensive online knowledge base, personal demo option, and phone support. They also provide training and implementation services to help users get started with their payroll system. They have sales offices in all 50 US States, and their support hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in each time zone.
Paycom does not have a live chatbot or email address listed on their site, but there is a convenient directory by state to assist users in finding the correct sales team.
Contact Submission
After requesting a free demo, I was contacted by a member of the support team within 9 hours via email. The representative also went to my business website and attempted to reach me through my own contact form.
Live Phone Call
I called the Florida sales office and was able to get through on the 4th ring. The representative was helpful and the upsell attempts were limited. I was also offered a free demo at my convenience. A second call was placed for assistance from customer support. This took several redirects, but once on the call, the representative was helpful with my questions regarding new employee onboarding.
Online Resources
Paycom has an organized blog, on-demand webinars, a podcast, and a dedicated YouTube Channel.
Overall Experience
Although limited to contact forms and phone calls, my experience was positive. Their support staff was helpful without too many upsell attempts. It was also convenient to be able to contact a representative in the state where my LLC is registered.
