General Features
I found it really impressive that, in terms of functionality, Rezku goes well beyond any competitor on the market.
The systems’ security is on the absolute highest level. Notable features include 3-day offline credit card payments, seamless integration with 3rd party online ordering services, automated inventory control with low-stock emails and a white-label online ordering portal for your customers.
Rezku handles the usual things exceptionally well too. Everything you’d expect from a modern POS System including table-side ordering and payment, order and split by seat, highly customizable menu management with conversational modifiers, half-and-half pizzas and advanced couponing functions.
Here’s a list of some of the features, and I’ll go into detail below:

Menu Management
When I explored Rezku’s menu management capabilities, I was impressed by its flexibility. The drag-and-drop design made customization straightforward, allowing me to incorporate stock images, upload photos, and adjust color themes to align with the restaurant’s branding. Collaborating with a dedicated Rezku team member ensured the menu was tailored precisely to our needs. The custom-branded online ordering portal was a standout feature, enabling seamless online menu integration without any need for complex website programming.
It was also really easy to move items from one table to another. This is really useful for split checks, or when there’s a mistake in the order.
Ingredient-Level Food Cost Calculations
Rezku’s ingredient-level food cost tracking allows restaurants to monitor expenses down to individual ingredients. I found this feature useful for maintaining profitability, as it helps identify high-cost menu items and optimize pricing. By integrating with inventory tracking, businesses can reduce waste, manage food costs, and improve overall retail management efficiency.
Full Service and Table Side Ordering
Testing Rezku’s tableside ordering was a game-changer for streamlining operations. The system allowed for rapid check splitting by seat or item, and the wireless handheld POS devices with integrated payments kept service efficient. Orders sent directly to the kitchen reduced unnecessary back-and-forth, and the option for guests to use table QR codes to order and pay from their smartphones minimized reliance on front-of-house staff.
Automated Inventory Control
Managing inventory became significantly more efficient with Rezku’s automated inventory control. I could enter stock levels, and items were automatically removed from the menu when they sold out. Real-time updates from the POS allowed for on-the-fly adjustments, and the system’s ingredient tracking sent automatic emails to managers when stock levels dipped below preset thresholds, helping to prevent shortages and maintain customer satisfaction.
Driver Dispatch System with SMS
Managing in-house delivery becomes much easier with Rezku’s driver dispatch system. The system provides real-time tracking, allowing businesses to send delivery drivers turn-by-turn directions while also sending automated SMS updates to customers. When I tested it, I found that it helped streamline operations while improving the customer experience for multi-location management and selling online.
Offline Mode
One of the most reassuring features I encountered was Rezku’s offline mode. Even during internet outages, operations continued seamlessly, with the ability to send and print orders to the kitchen, transfer orders between stations, and process credit card payments. The system securely stored credit card transactions for up to three days, automatically syncing all offline data once the connection was restored, ensuring no loss of information.
Online Ordering and Delivery
Online ordering and delivery are a top revenue generator for restaurants and are essential. Rezku’s first-party online ordering system is extremely easy to use. You won’t require any coding knowledge, website hosting services or technical knowledge. It is fully customized and branded to your restaurant and integrates with Rezku’s included gift cards, loyalty and coupons. Rezku integrates seamlessly with all major 3rd party online ordering and delivery services, printing right to the kitchen and eliminating the need for extra tablets.
Rezku includes features to help you get the most out of delivery. Manage in-house deliveries like a pro, with a dedicated delivery driver dispatch interface that includes turn-by-turn directions, return estimates and driver cash owed. For those who don’t do in-house delivery, Rezku integrates with DoorDash Drive, allowing you to assign deliveries to DoorDash drivers on the fly.
Dedicated Manager’s App
Rezku’s manager’s app allows for remote system management, letting business owners monitor sales, track inventory, and adjust Point of Sale system settings from anywhere. I liked the flexibility of checking sales analytics and menu updates without being on-site. This is a great tool for businesses managing cloud-based POS systems across multiple locations.
Advanced Kitchen Display System (KDS)
Rezku’s advanced KDS system enhances kitchen efficiency by digitizing order management. Instead of relying on printed tickets, staff can see real-time orders on a display, reducing errors and improving speed. When I tested it, the system streamlined communication between the POS software and kitchen, making it ideal for high-volume restaurants.
Liner-Less To-Go Label Printing
For takeout and delivery businesses, liner-less label printing eliminates waste while improving order accuracy. Unlike traditional sticky labels, these printouts adjust dynamically to fit various order details. This made managing e-commerce integration for pickup and delivery orders seamless when I tested it, ensuring correct labeling without wasted materials.
Conversational Modifiers
Rezku’s conversational modifiers make ordering more intuitive. Instead of rigid menu selections, servers can adjust orders dynamically, such as changing ingredients or preparation styles. This was particularly useful for restaurants with complex menus, making the Point of Sale software easier to use while improving customer satisfaction.
Half-and-Half Pizza Customization
A standout feature for pizzerias, Rezku’s half-and-half pizza customization allows customers to order different toppings on each half of a pizza. When I tested this, it simplified what is usually a manual process, reducing order mistakes and ensuring accurate inventory updates in the POS system.
Advanced Couponing Functions
Rezku supports advanced couponing functions, letting businesses create custom discounts based on specific criteria. Whether offering discounts on particular days, for certain customers, or with purchase minimums, I found the system flexible. Businesses looking to maximize customer relationship management (CRM) will benefit from these targeted promotions.
Integrations & Add-Ons
While Rezku’s list of integrations isn’t exhaustive, it effectively covers essential areas. The system integrates with major accounting software like Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage, facilitating seamless financial management. It also supports various online ordering and delivery services, including DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub, expanding the restaurant’s reach.
For bar operations, integrations with services like DigitalPour, BarVision, and BeerBoard enhance functionality, making Rezku a versatile choice for diverse hospitality businesses.

Hardware & Software
Rezku is an iPad-based system. The iPads themselves are not included in the pricing, so must be allowed for as a separate cost. For those needing a full hardware-based system, there are various options, including cash drawers, receipt printers, and card readers. There are preset bundles available, as well as the option of building custom systems.
The Rezku system is compatible with all iPads running iPadOS version 12 or above. Rezku recommends using iPad 10.2 inch versions (gen 7/8/9), iPad Pro 12.9 inch version (gen 3/4/5) and iPad Mini (gen 4/5) for standard case and stand compatibility.

Uniqueness:
Verdict:
Rezku has a laser focus on doing one thing and doing it well. While some POS systems try to cater for every possible business, Rezku concentrates solely on restaurants and bars. The approach makes for a very intuitive system that’s easy to learn and a pleasure to use.
There are some slightly negative ways in which Rezku’s size and relatively recent entry into the POS business shows its head. While the support on offer is of a high standard, it’s not 24/7. Unfortunately, a fairly limited selection of self-service support options does compound this issue.
However, this should not detract from Rezku’s well-thought-out feature set, appealing pricing and overwhelmingly positive reputation. The features around phone orders and food delivery are truly excellent, and clearly designed with the world’s “new normal” in mind. Rezku has put a lot of thought into what modern food service businesses need.
