ADP offers various pricing packages for their payroll and HR software solutions, which are based on factors such as the size of the business, the number of employees, and the specific features required. These are all categorized under RUN Powered by ADP.
ADP Roll is new this year and incorporates artificial intelligence to assist business owners in easily managing payroll from their mobile devices, even without any prior experience. The app operates via a chat-based interface, allowing users to simply instruct Roll to run payroll.
The Essential plan offers employee access, time tracking, and employee support.
Their Small Business Plans are Enhanced, Complete, and HR Pro with varying price points based on a consultation with an ADP representative.
For 50+ employees, they offer 3 plans: Select, Plus and Premium.
All plans offer a 3-month free trial.
Customer Support
ADP offers different levels of customer support based on plan.
Live chat agents are available Mon-Fri, 7:30am to 10:00pm ET. The ADP virtual assistant is available to users 24/7 through the RUN platform.
Chatbot
The ADP chatbot is readily available on the website but generally redirects the user to contact with an agent during business hours.

Email Support
All contact form submissions and emails are answered within a few hours by an ADP representative. They do, however, request a phone call to answer any questions.
Live Phone Conversation
My phone consultation with the ADP representative was pleasant, but as expected there was a strong sales tone to it.
Online Resources
The website has a searchable Resource Center that’s divided into categories to include tax and retirement calculators, guides, forms, and on-demand webcasts.
ADP also has a dedicated YouTube Channel.
Overall Experience
My overall experience with their support was positive. All roads lead to a live phone conversation for new users as they do not have any other channels of communication.

This year, ADP introduced a new payroll product that utilizes artificial intelligence to enable business owners to conveniently handle payroll tasks from their phone or tablet, even without prior experience.







Automation Features
ADP’s automations include automated onboarding flows, E-signing, Online I-9 & W-4 forms, state new hire reporting, and custom personnel checklists.





HR Features
ADP offers a full suite of HR tools including integrations with 3rd party apps and an app marketplace. They also have compliance tools built into each plan.

Ease Of Use:

Verdict:
ADP is designed for small to large businesses with easy scalability. It is best for businesses that want a comprehensive payroll solution that integrates with their HR and time and attendance systems.
Its new Roll AI chat-based payroll tier also simplifies the process for new business owners. Some plans, however, require consultation with an ADP representative and several steps to get started.
