The fees can become quite costly if you’re working with a large team that requires everyone to be on the same page in understanding customer data. Finding your way around ClickUp CRM seems daunting, especially since you have to choose from the numerous templates before getting an actual feel. However, ClickUp offers diverse support systems you can leverage to get the required guidance. You’ll also find videos, demos, blog posts, and courses that will inform you on improving your team’s productivity with the appropriate tools, methods, and techniques.

When I got to the help center, I clicked on the support option that offered a live chat. The responses were prompt from the automated chatbot on ClickUp, designed to help you solve your problems faster. This bot helped me answer basic questions about the challenges I encountered on the platform. Although this feature can help you connect directly with a team member, you’ll need a paid plan to access its full potential.
Email Support
Opening an email ticket on ClickUp is quite simple. Once you’ve found the email address, you can send your well-structured message to the address. However, even after 24 hours, I still didn’t receive a comprehensive response from the team after the initial email that showed I had opened a ticket. Another way to create a ticket easily, especially through the free version, is through live chat. It directs you to speak with an agent via email since your plan doesn’t cover it.

ClickUp offers direct phone support for all plans. Although the phone handler is friendly and conversational, it can lead to unresolved issues that require you to use other resources to address your complaints fully.

The page views are Whiteboard, Doc, Chat, Embed, and Form. Depending on what suits you best, you can settle for flexible or more analytical views like Gantt.

ClickUp offers reporting and analytics features that allow you to track your sales efforts’ effectiveness. It shows status over time, number of tasks completed, tasks by assignee, time reporting, priority breakdown, task list, and tasks worked on. It offers a visual representation of your data that makes interpretation easy.

ClickUp is undoubtedly a powerful tool. However, it allows you to link with other apps to manage your activities on a single platform, all for free. If you’ve realized that there are tools you use consistently, instead of jumping from one app to the other, you can simply link it with ClickUp to make your work smoother. Popular apps like Slack, Zendesk, Zoom, Microsoft teams, and a bunch of others can be easily integrated into your account.

You can also include subtasks, checklists, and attachments so you can have a comprehensive overview of all that concerns your clients. Performance:
ClickUp CRM is considered a high-performance software, given that it allows users to securely store and share customer data. I’ve assessed some of the performance parameters of the software and reviewed them accordingly.
Speed
The speed for setup and data transfer is one factor to consider when choosing a CRM software. With ClickUp, setup is a simple process. Also, importing a dashboard template to work with can happen in a breeze. Based on my assessment, as shown in the video below, it takes barely 47 seconds to successfully import a template.
Beyond template importation, attaching files to the cards of leads and contact is a seamless experience. Only took me a few seconds to attach a HD photo file to this card as shown in the video below.

Collecting and managing customer data is a cumbersome and repetitive process. The best CRM tools not only need to support automation, but they also have to make automation as seamless as possible. That’s what makes a true high-performance CRM system.
With ClickUp CRM, I was able to set up automation in an instant. The video below shows how easy it can be to create automation for your sales process.
While the automation setup is very easy, ClickUp has a limitation with its automation features. It offers all but email marketing automation. You can include this in your workflow, however, by integrating directly with an email marketing provider.
Ease Of Use:
Although there’s a learning curve to using the ClickUp software, you’ll find your way around if you leverage the resources and support options this platform offers. Without these resources, you can get frustrated trying to figure everything out yourself, especially the CRM features.
Setup
Setting up your ClickUp account breaks no sweat. First, you must include your work email and your name. Then, a verification code will be sent to your email that you’ll include get your account running. Afterward, you name your workspace and customize your workspace avatar using the drag-and-drop feature to upload your image or simply select the file from your pictures.
Then, you select a favorite theme color. When you’re done choosing, you’ll include the number of people you work with and why you’ll use ClickUp. Then, you can invite your team members and other product management tools that’ll help you import customer data. Although the options in this form seem quite cumbersome, you can already select options automatically to save time.

ClickUp has a template center where you can create your templates from scratch to help you stop repetitive work. This software has templates for task management, project management, content calendar, building web pages, and CRM. This template has fields and views that are easily customizable based on the tasks and activities you decide to prioritize. You can filter or show any aspect of your work, depending on what works best for you.
Audience building and segmenting
There’s a widget at the left side of your screen that covers all you need to manage your account properly. Under this section, there’s an option that reads, ‘import/export,’ which plays a major role in helping you build your audience on ClickUp. This CRM tool allows you to import customer data from Excel, asana, monday.com, Trello, Jira Software, todoist, Basecamp, and Wrike. Having your data on any of these platforms will save you the trouble of collecting data from scratch. There’s also an option for you to input your data manually.
Automation
Automating tasks on ClickUp helps boost your team’s productivity. First, you need to create a trigger, and include a condition to create an action that you can use to avoid repetition. However, you can use the Business plan for 15 days to include a condition while creating an automated task. This section also helps you track all your automated tasks, including the active and inactive ones. With the free plan, you can only create 100 automation per month without including a condition.

The ClickUp CRM has customizable features with numerous templates and 15 different views that help you save time instead of building from scratch. At an affordable rate, you can easily use aesthetically appealing dashboards to manage customer data.

If you’re looking for reliable and well-rounded CRM software, ClickUp is easily your best bet. It offers affordable pricing plans, customizable capabilities, and powerful management and collaboration tools that make your team 10x better.
In addition, it offers a decent fraction of the software for free while also helping users enjoy the premium plan for 15 days. Although it takes time to load its features, the benefits of this software application surpass its downsides.
Although you have to find suitable templates, ClickUp offers resources that guide you to navigate the platform easily. Once familiar with the tool, you can customize your tasks.
