About Sonary
Founded in 2020, Sonary exists to help small businesses make smarter software decisions, faster.
Surveys have found that over 50% the software small businesses pay for go unused. That's wasted money, wasted onboarding, and a stack that fights you instead of working for you. We're here to fix the part of that problem that happens before you buy: the research.
Every feature we offer, from AI-powered recommendations to side-by-side comparisons, exists to simplify one decision — this tool or that one. No jargon. No noise. Just clear guidance built for how real businesses actually run.

Why it matters
The wrong tools slow you down, bloat budgets, and cloud decision-making. Sonary helps you know what you're buying and why, compare options clearly, and choose with confidence.
The result: leaner operations, fewer headaches, and more time to focus on what you do best.

How we make money
We'll be direct about this, because you should know it before you read anything else on the site.
Sonary is free to use, and it's funded by advertising fees paid by some of the brands we review. Those fees do not determine the scores our reviewers assign, and we review products from companies that pay us nothing.
Our ratings come from a published five-factor rubric — price, ease of use, features, support, and performance. How the scores are calculated, and exactly what advertising does and doesn't affect, is set out in full on our methodology page.
If you ever think a score doesn't match the evidence on the page, tell us — that email goes to our editorial team, not to a support queue. → [corrections@sonary.com]
The crew behind the curtain
Sonary isn't just driven by algorithms, though we do love a smart recommendation engine. It's powered by a small team of editors, software reviewers, SEO specialists, and product thinkers who are collectively obsessed with clarity and credibility.
Between us we've built startups, run newsrooms, led editorial teams, and stress-tested more software stacks than we'd care to count. Here's who's actually doing the work.
